Hiking Schedule

The following dates and mountains are our best efforts to plan our winter hiking trips for the season. These dates and locations are subject to change, and may change up until the last minute, for any number of reasons. Winter 2009- 2010

It looks like Gordon and I will be back in full swing this winter. After a few years of physical ailments and busy schedules we look forward to venturing back into the wilderness this coming winter. We are planning an ambitious schedule of fabulous winter hikes. Send us an email If you would like to join us on any of our adventures. December 22 (Winter Solstice day hike) - The Nubble above the peak: Solstice hike - Success, completed on the 22nd!!

January 9 - Mt Abraham, (VT)

January 23 & 24 - Vose Spur and possibly Lowell and Anderson thrown in for good measure

January 30 - Winter Hiking Presentation at The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel

February 6-7 - Mt Ellen

February 19-21 - The Bigelows (Avery, West Peak and South Horn) Stay Fri night in Stratton, ME

February 27 - Breadloaf and Wilson (VT)

March 6 & 7 - Mendon, Killington and Pico VT all within a few miles of eachother.(Stay at Long Trail Inn)

March 13 - Camel's Hump (VT) or Saddleback (ME)

Vernal Equinox - March 20, winter if officially over (and only officialy)
